I don't know how I missed those. Thanks. I'll try building on top of Fedora. Currently "alien"-ated the deb package and that is how I'm using it on top of fedora, but there are some shortcomings. Strangely the same package works well on Arch.

I use the Signal Flatpak from http://flathub.org on Fedora, which works great.
