You can add location information to your Tweets, such as your city or precise location, from the web and via third-party applications. You always have the option to delete your Tweet location history. Learn more
If you install it in your person ~/Applications folder (instead of the system-wide folder) that will make future updates easier.
That's how I installed it the first time
So this problem cropped up again, the app is installed to /Applications/ by copying the downloaded app to the finder Applications folder 1/2

Sorry for the inconvenience. This is a known issue for non-admin macOS users. One solution is to copy the app to `/Users/yourusername/Applications` instead of the global `/Applications` directory. We're tracking this here:https://github.com/WhisperSystems/Signal-Desktop/issues/1678 …
