For a week or two now, #Signal messages with an attachment sent from my Android device fail to send. Anyone else or just me? @whispersystems
Any chance you've manually edited your cert trust db? Send us an email at support@whispersystems.org and we'll see if we can help.

I have in fact! I've been removing root certs one at a time, testing apps I use, and only re-enabling if this causes errors.

I must have tested Signal with a text-only message, did not think that an attachment would hit a differently-signed domain…?
-
Any chance you can point me at the root certs I need to ensure are enabled for Signal to work? I'd rather not re-enable all.

I MITM'ed my
#Signal, see HTTP CONNECT to http://textsecure-service.whispersystems.org but is self-signed; no cert to disable. What am I missing?@whispersystems -
So this failed 'cause
#Signal correctly pins its TLS certs. You can't MITM Signal without compromising its server.
