@whispersystems for iOS too? -
@schweinepriestr@whispersystems I believe they are still looking for iOS developers.. do you know any good ones? -
@jerquee sadly no :/ maybe if@Snowden were to retweet a search for@whispersystems? B-) -
@schweinepriestr@Snowden@whispersystems here is the link where they're hiring:https://whispersystems.org/workworkwork/

@whispersystems Will it ever be available as a stand-alone application? I refuse to use Chrome. -
@VessOnSecurity@whispersystems You can try Iridium (https://iridiumbrowser.de ) – it's a security-enhanced version of Chromium. -
@benediktg5@whispersystems I already have a favorite browser, thank you. An app requiring me to use another is an app I won't use. Ever. -
@VessOnSecurity@whispersystems I also already have a favorite browser (Firefox). Signal desktop runs in an own window without tabs. -
@benediktg5@whispersystems Signal desktop requires me to install a browser, which I despise. Not going to happen.

.
@whispersystems - Any ETA for Signal for folks who don't have (& maybe don't want) an Android phone? -
@ehasbrouck What are you hoping to run Signal on? -
@ehasbrouck Ah. You must want to run desktop Signal with your iPhone? -
@beej69 - And I certainly don't want anyone who steals my cellphone to be able to access my Signal comms or impersonate me on Signal. -
@ehasbrouck If phone is locked, that should be difficult. How is phoneless desktop better? Can impersonate you from your desktop. -
@beej69 -Stolen/lost/pickpocketed cellphone while travelling is orders of magnitude more likely than break-in at my home & access to desktop -
@ehasbrouck True enough, but mobile comms are usually an important feature worth trusting phone security for. Use case for desktop-only slim -
@beej69 - Mobile *and* secure comms would be nice. But secure comms from desktop only would be much better than no secure comms at all.
