How did TextSecure know build expired w/o data connection & WiFi, and why did it then prevent sending standard sms texts, @WhisperSystems?
@humorkritik Not sure what you're asking, but all TextSecure builds expire after 6 months.

@whispersystems Do I understand correctly that TextSecure has a hardcoded expiry date? To clarify: got a message build expired, and [1/n]Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@whispersystems at the time. Was running 2.6.4. Had lost time and date settings before, changed manually to current. Updated since. [n/n] -
@humorkritik Still not sure what you're asking, but 2.6.4 should not have expired yet. -
@whispersystems OK, to break it down: why can't I send text messages (plaintext gsm sms) when TextSecure thinks build expired? -
@humorkritik The best place for support is the support center: http://support.whispersystems.org -
@whispersystems This wasn't really a support question, this was a what the$FOO question. This looked like INTENDED behaviour of TextSecure.
