That doesn't really work. Someone can always use another camera to take a photo of the screen.

It would be also great to have 'one day' as a retain time period. Use Case, maybe I consider 2-3 shoes that I want to purchase, in the conversation I think I will view it several times until I choose one. (until the conversation is on that topic)

You can temporarily enable Disappearing Messages with a 1-day timer and then disable them (or choose a different interval) after sending your shoe lineup.

@signalapp Some (more) important features are still missing on Signal. For example, we can't remove a person from a group! Don't you think it would be more useful to focus on more basic features but much more used? This way you could catch up on WhatsApp... -

Could you implement a simple "delete messages after <period of time>" that only applies for the current device? I'm looking for a way to get rid of older messages and not force the same setting on others in the conversation.
