don’t be! i had to update my website but that gatsby + node version doesn’t deploy on vercel anymore ✌️ tried to upgrade both and now it doesn’t build at all 🤡 so i guess i’m not going to add to my website anymore

important to say that these concepts weren't _invented_ for react or by react devs, these ideas existed long before react came around, but they are a common feature of react apps react clicked for me because i could see direct application of ideas from @.stubbornella/oocss

there are 2 things that react focused css solutions undeniably got right: - styles “tied” to a component, scoping and collocation enables smarter bundling, serving and deletion of styles - really smooth integration of behaviours & styles, that makes interactions easier to build

building something that barely works: easy, lots of examples, libraries and blog posts building something that works well: bad examples, no blog posts, drop down multiple abstraction levels, source dive unrelated libraries 😭

this is fun #GitHubUnwrapped my top language of the year was CSS 🦄 most productive time is after lunch in the cafe ☕️ and most productive day is the day when i have no meetings 🎧
my top language of the year was CSS, followed by typescript and javascript
4pm is my favorite time to commit, generally a lot of commits between 3-5pm
wednesday is my most productive day followed closely by monday
