I can understand how Lebanon got ‘lumbered’ with that cargo. As impounded goods they could hardly use it, nor yet send it back out to sea. Contraband, poisons & explosives are dumped in many places in the world and become ‘someone else’s problem.’

Am not an expert, but cant they destroy it or defuse it with some chemical treatment?? Is it indestructible??
