This wonderful and simple drawing illustrates perfectly how changes in our farming practice brings nature back onto our farms. So many XR Farmers are doing this now! Please show your support for nature friendly farmers

"Help bees by not mowing dandelions, gardeners told". Not just gardeners of course. Local Authorities manage thousands of acres of greenspace by repeated mowing. It's Time to let things flower (then mow them after they've finished).

It’s a beautiful sunny and still day (feels like forever since we had one of those) so I opened all the windows to “give the house a good airing”. Think I’ve turned into my grandmother 👵🏻

is spot on. Native breeds are important economically, environmentally and socially- and is doing all it can to highlight the lack of local abattoirs

We are castaways on this small, grey island now. We’d better look after each other.

This wonderful image of North Ronaldsay lighthouse was taken by NLB technician Rob. It’s the tallest land-based lighthouse in the UK and if you happen to visit you might just see North Ronaldsay’s famous seaweed eating sheep grazing around the foreshore

“Tangles” or kelp, have long stalks that grip to rocks with a holdfast, and leathery brown fronds that spread out in the water. They cover the sound between Sanday and North Ronaldsay, and are ripped from their moorings by waves during winter storms

"She never brak a fence, Thro' thievish greed" tribute to his dead sheep. Maillie probably wouldn't break a dyke either, "she was a sheep o' sense, An' could behave hersel' wi' mense". could learn a thing or two from her!
