If your signal actually made it through the walls, I would not have needed that cell spot in the first place

$320 bucks for a cell spot (probably $20 worth of electronics) that you sent me because I can’t get a damn signal inside my office which helped me stay as T-Mobile customer for a few more years

Nice going @TMobile. After being a customer for 15 years, you sock it to me with a cell spot non return fee after I moved my lines out. And I think I even paid for the cell spot a long, long time ago.

In summary kudos to @amazon, @Walmart, @Target and @FedEx. They’ve figured out the whole ecommerce thing. @Wayfair, @IKEAUSA, and @UPS were disappointing to say the least. Having said that, we still got the place ready in two weeks.

Additionally @FedEx would actually use the garage code we gave them to leave packages inside the garage. @UPS ignored the code we gave them and dropped packages outside the garage every time. Why ask for it if the drivers don’t care to use it?

Shout out to @FedEx for delivering almost all of the packages on time even in bad weather. On the other hand @UPS delayed their deliveries when there was snow on the ground. Boo!

IKEA’s online ordering and delivery service was horrible. Our order would simply get stuck at “processing” which is probably euphemism for “we did not have accurate inventory when you ordered so we’re going to sit on it”. At least Wayfair would keep us informed of delays.

@Walmart and @Target were equally good with their delivery which surprised us. Both seemed very accurate with their inventory and we got shipping notifications the very same day for all the orders. @Target specifically had some unique stuff not available elsewhere ready to ship!

@amazon was great as expected. We got most of the big ticket and small ticket items from them even opting to pay a bit more just because we wanted to be sure that it got delivered as promised. I’m looking at you @Wayfair!

@Wayfair seemed to have the most choices but was a big disappointment when it came to delivery. The first few items we ordered were supposed to be delivered within the week but the delivery date kept changing right after we ordered. We stopped ordering from them on day 2.

We did grab a bunch of bedding and kitchenware from IKEA and loaded up our trusty Subaru Outback on our way up the mountain. Unfortunately IKEA seemed to be out of stock with lots of popular stuff and their shipping/delivery sucks. More on IKEA later
