1. Fellows get a design brief with necessary context and data from our partner 2. They form teams, get started, and have regular check-in sessions 3. Fellows present their solutions on Demo Day and even stand a chance of converting it into a full-time role!

Content/theory are easily accessible, but there's still a gap when it comes to opportunities to interact and work with practitioners in the field on actual problems. Good internships are hard to come by. Need something that is more scalable in terms of providing that exposure.

7. Making your stakeholders feel heard and informing them about your perspective helps build trust and rapport 8. An alarm bell should go off in your head when someone says "clean". Visuals are important, but shouldn't come at the cost of usability!

3. Always test the solution with users, it's really cheap to do anyway. Test early, test often 4. Intuition can help when you're dealing with a variation of a problem you've seen several times. Else, research is that much more critical

1. Don't fall into the trap of Ta-da! design (going away for weeks and showing up with a solution to your team; collaborate early) 2. If it's hard to get buy-in for strategic research (i.e problem finding), you can sneak it in during tactical research (i.e solution testing) 😉

you can abstract the quoted tweet: why do people pay for anything at all when there's some free alternative? rhetorical question, but imo the selective idealism with educational services should make way for pragmatism while focusing on creating value and ensuring outcomes.

people are smarter than that, they already know there are free materials. what people want: structured & safe learning environment, hands-on learning w/ relevant curriculum, practitioner-led coaching, personalised feedback, community, real-world exp, and outcomes (eg: jobs).

The current climate in AI has so many parallels to 2021 web3 it's making me uncomfortable. Narratives based on zero data are accepted as self-evident. Everyone is expecting as a sure thing "civilization-altering" impact (& 100x returns on investment) in the next 2-3 years
