I've never been raped. None of my closest family/friends have been raped. This doesn't mean it isn't a serious problem for women or that I won't fight against it. I certainly won't claim those who've experienced it are blowing it out of proportion.

I think you are one of the lucky ones. These words have been hurled at me multiple times in my life. I don’t think they meant England where we immigrated from though. Also, I overheard people voicing this about people not even present. May it was you they were discussing?
