It should be easy to know when you’ve found the official YouTube channel of a creator, artist, brand, or public figure. So the options are to either let that happen, or background check channels for authenticity. If YouTube wants to remain impartial, the authenticity check should be free. To check EVERY currently verified account would require an investigation bureau similar to a small country's.
