Maybe that's the reason the forest is forbidden

-
I was assuming the room of requirement, but your suggestion would explain why the centaurs are holding a grudge ..

On the other hand the palace at Versailles was built without any toilets and the various nobility had to relieve themselves under staircases and in closets
-
They also did so in the hallways/against the outer walls/p much anywhere and everywhere. Women even had little gravy boat items they could hold up under their skirt to go literally anywhere.
-
Wow so I didn’t just imagine that
-
Nope! they also thought in 17th century Versailles that bathing opened the pores to “miasma” in the air which is what made you sick so they didn’t bathe, simply changed clothing several times a day & wiped off with a linen cloth. I cant imagine how bad it smelled there!

what on God's green earth would the social protocol for this be, would you.... leave a conversation to just do a dump in the corner, or would Advanced wizards just silently perform the incantation as soon as they felt tummy rumbles this raises so many qs I didn't want to ask
-
I hate this

wait but a founder of hogwarts put his secret snake hole in a bathroom there’s a whole book about it
-
The bathroom wasn't there at the time It's stated in another tweet that the chamber was nearly discovered when the bathrooms were built Imagine being an evil wizard and having your evil plans thwarted by indoor plumbing
-
but how was there the entrance in the toilets?
-
I have no idea, I'm just repeating what official sources have stated You could ask Rowling

If you have to formally learn magic, but you need to know magic to disappear your shit, most kids are basically just doing the first part of that, but are incapable of the second.
