Same here. I was done with him when he 'married' Aaliyah. I don't buy his music and I turn the station when he drops into the rotation.

Sadly, R Kelly isn't the only artist who has abused women. Sad that so many women of color in the music industry or entertainment in general feel they can NOT talk or tell their stories for fear of not having a pay check anymore!

I understand I do and wrong is wrong and this man has destroyed his career a long time ago and he is a talented guy and we have bobbed our head to his music but why have we not fixed the
#HarveyWeinstein issue yet? Let's get that problem fixed first before we tackle this one. -
The young black girls and women he’s currently abusing shouldn’t have to wait any longer. Not to mention his past victims. They deserve justice. Where’s the concern for them? Plus, there is such a thing as multi-tasking. Why can’t we address both men at once?

What about Chris Brown?! He’s been accused multiple times, arrested, ordered to therapy for his abuse of women & he’s been highly regarded no matter what?!

Kymi u need 2 sit this one out... this is about the decades of sexual abuse R Kelly has unleashed on the women of the black community while ppl turned the blind eye because statutory rape is common in the black community & brushed off as "fast ass girls"
