It is basic logic: If you make it harder for the bad guy to get a gun, less will get guns.

because a gun didn't commit a mass shooting, a MAN made a conscious decision to harm another human being.

Which he was only able to do because he had a high-power rifle. He would've done less damage w/ a handgun.

At those distances, a large caliber handgun with a scope would've done as worse.
