I think the NPC meme could have stood a chance if folks weren’t in such a hurry to slap it one particular group. Could have worked well applied to any person who mindlessly repeats rhetoric, no matter the party.

yeah, a lot of people using the NPC meme were embodying the thing it was meant to make fun of memes tend to ruin most gags/setups hard, NPC lasted a bit longer than most

They are doing it on purpose as an indication the Democrats have nothing important to say. They are using it to troll Democrats. I advise anyone on either side to block them immediately when you see them
