And we double our (tech industry) budget every 2 years to make Moore's law doubles every two years (no source as this statistic). Another option : doubles budget to make software not bloat

One needs to take a more differentiated view. For CPUs Moore’s “Law” is showing signs of flattering out. This is, however, not at all the case for GPUs and TPUs. Specialized hardware architectures is where the action is.
