That might be the case but the fact that they can't stream for 90 days (as things are now), one would think streaming on twitch with a lower audience is better than no stream at all. So again, probably locked into YT contract

My understanding was that was it was easier to just stream on YouTube than to transfer files from twitch. And contracts to stream is not a thing, you are thinking of paid YouTube RED series.

No. Contracts ARE a thing. Some (or all) full time twitch streamers have a contract with Twitch where they can't stream on other platforms. Hence why most of them upload videos. It's a thing, research please.

yep, youtube does the same, they have done it previous for exclusive streaming for esports tournaments so idk why they would just limit it to that
