That’s LITERALLY what security guards are supposed to do, according to OSHA guidelines (and likely Walgreens guidelines as well). You’re supposed to document what’s happening and notify law enforcement without confronting the person (as it could be dangerous.)

Major retailers have entire training videos instructing employees to never confront shoplifters, b/c they have insurance to cover shrinkage and they don’t want to risk the much higher cost of injury. It’s ok to just not talk when you don’t know what you’re talking about, Jacob.
