Hello @yoginths, I see that you have now switched to plagiarizing Ruby gems. -> -> Please stop doing that. I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve.

What if instead of looking at the stars count and the time of last commit as metrics that help us decide whether we should use a library or not, we focused on reading the source code? I think what prevents us from this is the fact that most libraries are too broad in scope.

Google has quietly been using its machine learning chops to make US military drones better killing machines. Heartwarming to know that using Google products also means helping the DoD to better killer drones. ☠️

Wanted to write a blog post about a wonderful experience of getting hacked, thanks to Dropbox's password leakage in 2012. Decided to edit it out to these four words: use password manager everywhere.

Loading screens on boot for anything web based is basically admitting failure and capitulating when it comes to UX. How hard is it to show dummy wireframes as a placeholder instead? Slack does this and I really have no idea why.

I've worked in JS for a while, but I'm really happy to be working in Ruby for a living again. It makes me feel the joy for programming, the same joy I've felt when I discovered it. I love the ecosystem and the beauty of the language itself. Happy birthday Ruby!
