My biggest question for @YouTube in the wake of #demonetization hard-working smaller creators is will ads stop showing entirely before our videos, or will they remain and we just won't see any of that revenue?

As per the new update, your channel needs both 4,000 watch hours and 1,000 subscribers to be a part of YPP. Ads will not stop running on your videos until 20th Feb. Explained in detail here: https://goo.gl/uQR96b
