    Moms are moms forever. You could have a 401k plan and be in the 30+ club and they care not. Every mama at this graduate student table has packed extra napkins, batteries, & a first aid kit. Our table is ready for the zombie apocalypse. They got us.

    My best friend, Brittney, is graduation from with her master’s this week and no one can tell me nothing. She is dogged, tenacious, and does the immeasurable deep work of charting paths for others and I could not be more proud. 👩🏽‍🎓

    There's great freedom in knowing that there's always option B. Sometimes A is ideal, shiny, appealing, even. And then you get into the thick of it and realized much of your initial optimism wasn't rooted in facts. You can always choose to pivot and take back control.
