    Brushing & flossing are vital for strong teeth, but we also must be mindful about what we eat. 's Karel Vega & I spoke w about oral health... and also learned why bottled water isn't great for teeth. w

    . Yes. And demand candidates running for office address , food, energy, water & more before Election Day so they prioritize these issues & arrive in office w a plan on day 1.

    That said, there’s still much we can do to adapt to . Focus on food & water security. Energy efficiency. Invest in infrastructure, research & protect those at risk - including in the U.S. And let’s make sure our leaders arrive prepared to address on day 1.

    All day I’ve seen reactions ranging from horror to ambivalence over the crisis. I don’t feel shocked - I was learning about all this 15 yrs ago. We’ve been greedy & haven’t taken simple steps to change course. So it goes.

    My son's teachers took everyone inside from recess bc of a suspicious man behind bushes. Older children say he had a gun, which is unsubstantiated. That school shootings happen is devastating. Explaining this to my kindergartner later will also be devastating.

    Not ⁦⁩: EPA aims to weaken rules on radiation exposure bc “a bit of radiation damage is actually good for you — like a little bit of sunlight.” Science matters. Evidence based policies matter. like your life depends on it. It might.

    I know Trump dominates the news cycle all day. Every day. I know we must pay attention the rollbacks, lies, sexism, racism & injustice. But a giant 18ft killed over 1200 ppl on Friday. Why aren't we hearing about that too ? And how to help?
