appallingly transparent. clearly it’s not just about things being “allegations” because all of these incidents just happened and haven’t been thoroughly investigated. whoever wrote that tweet just doesn’t want to name the police as enactors of violence.

as many have pointed out, the police have always been antagonistic toward any journalists who want to do more than be their stenographers. this kind of reporting & blindness to power dynamics is why ordinary people have reason to distrust the media too. not just trump’s rhetoric

They do this when reporting on Israel too. NYT is good at bias.
