    I believe things exist that fit the multiple definitions of life according to biology. I think that can be true and my point can also hold that descriptions of the form "not x" or "x does not exist" are things that are not needed to describe reality,

    The biological definition of life though, is too restrictive. It's based on the common characteristics of living things found so far, but does not allow for the possibility of radically different forms of life... Plus there's the edge cases like viruses and prions.
