So if you ever get big enough to where you need outside help, you have to lose everything or give a third party your login information. That seems like 2 very bad choices.

Hopefully someone out there will see this and avoid this issue. Unfortunately, it’s too late for me.pic.twitter.com/GwRFCD5eYk

When I moved to a brand account early on I lost my custom URL for about two weeks. Apparently, that’s a risk too. I was told it was gone and I needed a new one.
I was eventually able to get it back. -
They told me I could email them after I switched to try and have them re-assign it to me. But all of the other stuff would still be gone.

That just happen to you?

I realized that my channel was a channel and not a brand account. I wanted to switch and then...all the above. So now I’m stuck with it like this...for the unforeseen future.

If the brand is you then stay a channel, if the brand is a brand which you plan to grow & cash out in the future make it a brand account.
-
Brand accounts mean more than one person can have log in details. If you have a channel you would have to share your personal log in. Hence the getting 'outside help' part of the comment.pic.twitter.com/dhFDcNh53g
