Does anyone have good arguments on why we should stay in the UK instead of returning to Australia? I need a cold shower.

This is true but it’s hard to come across anything lethal in urban areas. On the up side, I miss the sound of nature in Sydney - cockatoos, kookaburra, ... London is absolutely lifeless if the foxes aren’t mating at odd hours of night.
If we're talking purely about urban areas, and specifically about Sydney, Sydney is by the ocean, London is not. Sydney wins.
