I love doing this so much!
One of my favourite activities as a developer is to clean up codebases where the only thing stopping people from doing said clean up is the tedium that comes from doing it. Don't just build. Enjoyment sometimes comes from the mundane.

I do this with some chores, it is an effective and easy way for me to get into a'flow' state. People think I'm weird and I agree: I wash those dishes anyway because it feels *good*.
