    The Ontario Environment Minister cited as a reason to cancel a partially built wind farm. Although they can be a major issue, they weren't this time...so I wrote an Op-Ed in the about it...

    This is my current foster puppy Pia, whose name makes me think of the pia mater, the most "delicate" of the brain meninges. The canine Pia protects my brain too, so it's been a pretty accurate name so far.

    1. My favourite conifer is the jack pine 2. I can skate 31 laps around a roller derby track in 5 minutes (~20.5 km/h) 3. I've never eaten lobster , and YOU if haven't participated yet & still want to - I nominate you!

    We all know squirrels have a dark side and I want to know more about it! Anyone know of field observations of squirrels hunting or scavenging on food sources outside of seeds and nuts? I've found these excellent excerpts and am looking for more!
