So help me understand. How does this help youtubers? I have 2.7 million subs, 500 million views on my channel, practically a tenth of the worlds population, and on my dashboard I see that thousands of small channels have reuploaded my videos... and I won’t be verified why?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m gonna appeal, and it’s not like I’m one of the largest channels on YT, but I just fail to see why this improves the site in any way. There’s people larger than me being removed, just makes it harder for people to find the real you. Seems counter-intuitive
