What is wrong with building respect and creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable?
My Twitter opening instruction asks, ‘What’s Happening’ ...... should’ve added .... ‘to our game?’. 40 years in the game and played, coached and spectated at some inhospitable ( wonderful) rival grounds. Isn't this exactly what Gil and AFL said they had given no instruction too and was not happening?

I spoke to a few of the security last night and they said the AFL had definitely given directions to stadium management.

So the AFL/ venues say they haven't increased their security at the ground? From memory, these people never existed until this year. Also, the AFL's reasoning is because of the crowd violence at the start of the year (which caused by alcohol) and partly abuse. 1/2

Instead of banning the fans why not disallow supporters who are intoxicated from buying beer? The answer: They don't want to lose money. This proves that the AFL cares more about money than the fans once again. When will they realise without us (the fans) they would be nothing

Last night there was also guys in Bright green jackets with ‘crowd supervisor’written in bold writing on back.These men were walking up and down my aisle,looking into every row eyeballing people.I wanted to say something, but wasn’t prepared to risk getting kicked out.
