The truth is that the American taxpayers are on the hook for the President they didn’t vote for and his wacky monument to himself.

The word "divestment" re: GTH is inaccurate, IMO. The GTH is a municipality, revenue is taxation. You can't sell/divest either. At best the GTH will be annexed by the City of Regina. The only assets the GTH has to sell are the parcels for which they overpaid. That's it.

Let's stop pretending fat cat bosses deserve their wealth. That wealth is created by the hard of millions, and state investment in everything from education to research. That wealth belongs to us all.

This would be a stronger argument if it was a) backed up by any evidence b) if Mr. Scheer could say how he knows leading economists & scientists around the world are wrong c) if he had a better idea. Otherwise just sounds like kids in the basement running Twitter account.

The visual representation of the full House today is striking. On one side, House GOP almost entirely white men. And almost entirely in navy blue/black suits. On other, House Democrats awash in color—both skin and dress—with women mixed in throughout.

It is not treason to criticize the President of the United States. One of the many things you wouldn't think you'd have to say out loud in 2019.

The U.S. Treasury Department says that the national debt has increased by $2 trillion ($2,000,000,000,000) since President Trump took office on Jan. 20, 2017. That's with Republicans in control of the House and Senate. The national debt is now almost $22 trillion.

Trump used to pride himself on being the "king of debt" until bankers stopped lending to him because of his bankruptcies. In RIck Wilson's book, "Everything Trump Touches Dies", he quotes a billionaire hedge fund manager as saying, "Trump is a clown living off credit".

Is it possible that Trump's remarks on Afghanistan --and that the Soviets invaded because of "terrorists" -- reflect a conversation he had with Putin?
