The woman behind me on this train just asked her seatmate what the word “ideology” means and I feel like this is the closest I’m ever gonna come to being able to stand up and say yes when someone calls out “Is there a doctor on the train.”

It is Sexual Abuse & Sexual Violence Awareness Week. Let us use this as an opportunity to get informed, to challenge cultures, attitudes, behaviours and systems that support sexual violence.... and stand together to say

Hey . Cool segment on , but Michael Ward won the award for Best Rising Star (one of only 2 Black nominees in the entire list) and you guys fail to mention him or even show his face . What's up with that?

Steve McQueen's 'Year 3' exhibition at Tate Britain is epic. Was far more thought-provoking and engaging than I imagined it would be. Absolutely brilliant.

Hey - what's your most intense professional cringe moment? Mine: I was a visiting speaker at Fancy U. Dinner plans had gotten as far as making a reservation and telling me, but apparently no farther. I ended up sitting by myself at a table for 8 for 2 hours.

Part of a panel discussion, I moved my chair back, a leg slipped off the raised platform, and I fell on the floor. The topic of the panel was “dignity”.

Can you sport the little example of Inclusive design , Bristol. It doesn’t take a lot, just a bit of thinking, dialogue, understanding & humanity - but can make all the difference.

Visited Kara Walker's Fons Americanas exhibition in Modern's Turbine Hall. Poignant moment when overheard a (white) father explaining the horrors of slavery to his (approx) 9 yr old son. He ended saying, "This is important, you mustn't forget it!" The power of art is real.

In Bristol, UK, we had a bus boycott in 1963, campaigning against the Bristol Omnibus Company for refusing to hire Black drivers and conductors. The successful campaign had a direct impact on the forming of Race Relations Act, which came into UK law two years later.

To this day there are very few Bristolian accents in local and national broadcast media. It’s this type of film that has contributed to this - sneery and mocking. Not much has changed since 1977. A documentary on this issue & why this is will be coming v soon...💣
