Will these new controllers work with both vive/vive pro?

I don't think valve has said one way or another but they were being demoed w the orig vive here so maybe that's some indication?

Just bought a vive but haven't opened yet bc I just found out about vive pro. I'm on the fence if I should wait or not, any recommendations?

I'd ask the r/vive subreddit. Saw ppl trying out the vive pro last night at the Seattle VR meetup and no one seemed super blown away to be honest. But i didn't try so can't say for sure. I'm betting the vive 1.0 price will get a good cut when it ships though

Any idea how to display actual fps in the vive headset? Quite a few hits on Google, but only talk about that graph which only show fps drops. I'm looking for a fps counter on screen in headset

You able to say anything about how grip-sensing appears to work? Seems to lack the side buttons of previous controllers.
