Here's what I know. If white NFL players decided to take a knee during the national anthem for soldiers who've died in combat or police who died in the line of duty, they'd all be heroes right now. They'd never be fined. No new rules would be created. None of that.
I actually even believe that if Black players stopped taking a knee for police brutality and white players did it, Trump wouldn't be opposed like he is now. It's the fact that it's Black players, taking a knee for Black people, that rubs white people the wrong way.
