I spoke to several NFL players today who said they intend to stay in the locker room during the National Anthem, but that the pressure being put on them by the team not to, including most of their teammates, is fierce. They each said Trump has legitimately spooked the NFL.
Spoke to several more NFL players. Each said they seriously doubt many players will take a knee or even raise a fist or stay in the locker room. The reiterated what other players told me yesterday - the consequences paid by Kaepernick & Eric Reid - have sufficiently spooked them

I was an avid NFL fan but there are far more important things and I'll gladly boycott the NFL because what they are doing is wrong.

They're doing this because Trump & co got a bunch of people to have false outrage which supposedly cost teams money. If we want to fight back, we need to cost them money while we're at it.
I wish that all the black players in the nfl for one game just don’t show up. Just to show their solidarity. For one game just to spook the owners of the nfl. It is easier said than done though. I get it, but for just one game, sit out. Don’t even go to the stadium. #nonflforme

You're probably right. I still like the idea. I prefer them going and busy sitting on the bench when the game play starts. Just don't play.

Whole teams won't be fired. Individuals will....who will be promptly replaced. Why should they walk away from their careers when we won't even stop watching the games on t.v.?
I haven't watched the NFL since they disrespected Kap. Are you still watching? Sometimes you have to take a leap of faith and just walk away from horrible relationships. This is a horrible relationship.
