I fundamentally reject the notion that we can't afford to hold Democrats accountable to some very basic principles and ideals like not voting for a torturer as the head of the CIA or not voting to cancel essential Wall Street/Big Bank reforms.
What I know is that come election time, Democrats come to Black churches, kiss Black babies, play the sax on Arsenio, go to the BBQ, and even contemplate taking a knee during the National Anthem. But in those off years, they do shit that sets us back decades.
Agreed. But can you not wait and hold them accountable AFTER voting in as any Dems as possible ? Instead of creating divisity now?? For the sake of America and the world can you not beat the republicans first before tearing each other apart.

Exactly. Healthy orgs can handle criticism & improvement on the fly. They ask for constructive feedback. So many folks chiding those who hold Dems accountable is a sign that the entire party is unhealthy. The Dems can improve while also beating the GOP.
This snags BOTH my Senators: @MarkWarner & @timkaine and my Gov @GovernorVA. I agree that a healthy party would hold them accountable, rather than justifying their corporatocracy while pointing fingers at the GOP for the Same.Damn.Things.
They will always serve their donors.
Clarification: The banking bill issue doesn't snag my Gov, but the being beholden to donors rather than voters, does.

Hold Dem's accountable, but what UR doing is basically encouraging people 2 either vote 4 Republican, vote 4 someone who has no chance of winning, or not voting at all. That helps no one, EVER. If U get 75% of what U believe w/Dems then take the 75% & work 4 the other 25%.
She's also essentially saying she hates democracy whereby people vote for who they feel best represents them.
If someone represents you 75% of the time and someone else represents you 25% of the time, which one best represents you??

I also don't understand why they are allowing a vote on ANYTHING with this shitstorm and his accomplices in office. They should refuse to budge on anything until Democracy and sanity are restored.
