You have little to no idea what you are talking about Sean. Taking land without compensation that was LAWFULLY ACQUIRED is called stealing. That is not the way to address past atrocities. The impact if done unconstitutionally (which is being touted by many) will be disasterous.

Frankly Nick, if that is your actual name, I know a great deal about this. I lived in South Africa in 2014 and have studied this issue extensively. You mistakenly confuse the difficulty of a problem with the importance of solving it. This must happen.
-
That's even more embarrassing. You lived here and speak of our constitutional issues and yet have no clue what our Constitution says. 'Studied extensively' implies an understanding of that. But hey, SJW right.
-
And to be so hostile as to doubt someone's identity shows your avoidance of a very real set of facts.
-
Oh, also, solving a problem by ruining an economy hasn't worked well for most...

South African over here. You don't seem to understand the mechanisms and economic consequences of land expropriation without compensation. You should also know that this is an issue that has been abused by populist style politicians to gain support by racially dividing the nation
-
He understands. He lived there for a bit in 2014.
-
That makes total sense now

What about the rest that was promised under the ANC charter? Like the wealth, 90% in white hands, still in the same hands - you can add the farms to that also
-
Mandela sold us out...It is all his doings.
-
Guess you preferred apartheid?
-
No, I wanted apartheid to die - but it didn’t, it became a surface political change, with no financial change. So the heart of apartheid never died https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UN2oEu-f7UM … and it’s gotten worse since then (that is since this old documentary)
-
That tweet wasn't for you. It was meant for the guy who accused Nelson Mandela of being a sellout.
-
I preferred the promise of the Freedom Charter to be implemented...

Wouldn’t know what to do with a piece of soil
-
Even if they didn't know what they do like you're saying, which is a bold claim with no evidence,It Doesn't matter because it's rightfully theirs. What do you care about what they do with the land that belongs to them
-
I care about wastefulness
#Zimbabwe was bountiful now arid and barren can’t feed their own. To be a farmer you need discipline, patience, geil Zimbabwe has shown that the new owners have nothing of what it takes to reap -
Zimbabwe and South Africa are two separate countries firstly. Secondly no one said that the same approach as Zimbabwe would be utilized. The thirdly Zimbabwe was rich and bountiful for white people, there was still poverty and hunger amongst the native population
-
We’re talking about farming. This doesn’t have to spill over into a racial debate. Evidence has it, that when you receive land without knowledge of how to best utilise it then you are doomed to fail. I hate when Land or food is not Best used.
-
But who says the land will go to the unskilled is my question. There are a lot of agricultural graduates that it can go to. Why are you so adamant in pretending that it will go to the unskilled. What proof do you have if this. Enlighten me
