Yeah, when people in my circle said Trump’s election meant it was time for healing and kindness, my immediate thought was that must be an easy impulse for someone who has never suffered prejudice or oppression. And then I became determined to call out bigots and unfairness more
Sometimes it is better to have cockroaches scurry when the light is shined, than to be emboldened to spread their beliefs without fear of reprisals. Free speech has consequences, as it should.
Imagine having someone with an Iphone ...face to face verbally ...racially abusing you in a public place ...because you speak ....a different language ?
Being a nice person is a choice. Imagine having all those things and more happen to you for something you have zero control over. Now imagine that happening to every generation you give birth to for the next few hundred years and see how you feel.

I was stunned by her tweet. Day after day we see incidents of people like that atty (I won't name him) acting with impunity while we are stopped & harassed simply for living our lives. I categorically REJECT her sentiment. She can kick rocks. Keep doing what you are doing, Shaun.
Accountability is one thing, Shaun. Harassment is exactly the kind of behavior you're trying to prevent. Don't meet bad behavior with bad behavior.
