I will explain but not defend this ahole. You should walk on the sidewalk the same way you drive on the street. You move to the far right side so opposing traffic can pass you on the left. This is why he thinks they are from another country because they walk on the "wrong side"
I get that, but that’s just etiquette; it’s not law. And even if it was a law, it isn’t up to him to enforce it. And what a huge leap to assume they were foreign because of the side of the sidewalk they were on! That’s where the crazy comes in, I suppose.
