In every police station their needs to be a social worker and or mental health worker for times like these. My heart breaks for his family. We have to be proactive and fight for Social justice!! We can change this Climate!!

I work in community mental health and fear this every single day - exponentially more so for my male clients of color. So sorry for this young man and his family! We need the community to advocate for mandated & more extensive crisis intervention training for all officers.
