Well said @ShaunKing. I believe it is important to acknowledge the distinction between a militaristic authoritarian regime and that nation’s citizens. If anyone should understand the significance of voicing that distinction, it is Americans—especially in the Trump era.

Thank you for saying this. As a Jew who often strongly opposes Israel’s actions, I still look hesitantly upon non-Jews speaking out against Israel bc so much anti-Israel sentiment is laced with antisemitism, even though not all anti-Israel sentiment is antisemitic.

I'm laughing at the notion that you have a conscience. LOL That's funny.

It’s that thing that makes him NOT want people to be shot. You must not have that.

This kind of thinking is exactly why more Jews are turning to the right. You can support Palestinian human rights without boycotting an entire country. Do Jewish lives not matter?

Wondering if you feel the same way when Palestinian terrorists kill and injure Jewish people. Funny how there is never a call for a boycott then...I wonder why.

funny? how to boycott a people living under a military regime, hmm. that's a tough one. how about how to boycott people living under a brutal blockade for over a decade. i guess you could cut their water from 3hrs twice a week to one hr a week.

Like the US, the problem isn't with individual Jewish Israelis (or non-Israeli Jews), but with the government and military. The violent anti-Muslim Israeli is the equivalent of the NRA member/Trump supporter here in the US.

Shaun, if you care about this mess in Israel/Palestine please investigate the history of it and bring it to your followers. EYE OPENING is an understatement

@EcoSexuality VERY well said. As a biracial & Jewish man, I had similar issues with the Women's March; wanting to support it yet not being able to ignore Farakhan's open anti-semitism as other black folks were willing to. Israel has rights, but they may NOT take them from others.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

No country has an exclusive claim on representing the interests of an ethnic group or religion. (Not that such a universal interest even exists)

4k Palestinians killed in Syria & not a single word from you, have you ever done proper research on whats happening or is it only things which fit into your narrative that you believe to be valid. How you blatantly ignore cause, Hamas, and only see outcome is unbelievable.....

So you oppose Israelis and Palestinian civilians working together in cathartic and empathetic moments, got it. How about question why 170M is used to pay to purposefully kill Israelis, those who do earn more than the avg Palestinian teacher, but you will never respond to that...
