If Palestinians are denied the right to call for BDS against the country that occupies their land, humiliates them & then shoots them when they protest, then what option is left other than to accept their fate & perish. This they refuse to do. Shaun your voice in support matters!

What’s most frustrating is the amount of funding Israel gets from the U.S. each year. Hard to make a dent in the income through boycotts, alas.
-
$38 billion pledged over the next ten years from 2016. The largest subsidy in the world and most of it goes straight back to US weapons manufacturers. The American taxpayer is funding it all.

With one of the worlds most well funded armies in the world *murdering* a disproportionately equipped, essentially defenseless gathering of people I would say that BDS is not only, *not anti-Semitic* it’s the bare fucking moral minimum we should all be considering.

I always thought boycotts were the most American of protests, seeing as they involve people freely choosing where to spend their money.

Hi Shaun - I challenge you to live up to your public pledge of BDS and to help you along your way here is a list of companies doing business in Israel. Let YOUR boycott begin. FYI: no more use of these brands, products, companies or services. OK?pic.twitter.com/vf3R7PPVjK

When are you boycotting Egypt, Turkey, Pakistan who also get US money and kill / imprison innocent people?
-
Until you tweet about those much larger countries and the horrible atrocities they commit as much as you do Israel... I don't think you've earned the right to call yourself anti-Semetic.
-
The problem with BDS, is that many of it's supporters are anti-semetic and do attack american Jews as if responsible for Israeli policy. By supporting BDS, you end up supporting those people.

https://www.politico.com/states/new-york/albany/story/2018/05/15/cuomo-postpones-israel-trip-418957 … Still some strange language as to why the trip is being postponed. But the governor also tried to ban the state from doing business with anyone participating in BDS, so I guess thats par

A boycott is acceptable as a means of protest. A boycott is usually peaceful. Violent rioting is not a boycott. Violent rioting due to Israel’s choice to allow a U.S. embassy in Jerusalem, Israel’s existence or due to disputed land isn’t a boycott and is much harder to justify.
