Who are the Dems condemning this right now?
-
Probably many of them but RW run corporate media won’t give it airtime
-
True - Fox News probably wouldn’t cover that, but I know that very few Democratic lawmakers have spoken out against the Israeli government’s reaction to the protests.
-
Not really interested in entertaining a partisan response. If you want to hold one American political party or the other responsible for whatever you feel is an appropriate response, more power to you.
-
Shouldn’t we hold all lawmakers responsible for their response to this? Particularly the party with which we align.
-
You go hold whomever you please to whatever you want. There's no "we" here. Go knock yourself out if you want. Good luck
-
Why are you commenting here then if you don’t care?
-
I care deeply, I just don't care for YOUR opinion. Sorry if that upsets you It has nothing to do with domestic politics in the US. If you think one group of Americans or another are responsible for the massacre, you're wrong. IDF and Israel are responsible, FULL STOP

This so mirrors the whole conflict. One side says innocent, peaceful people are slaughtered. The other side says evil, violent terrorists are repelled at the gates. How can the narratives be so divergent? It looked like the protests were far from the fence? What is true?
-
More context: It’s not a border gate or a border fence. It’s a prison gate/fence located *inside* occupied Palestine. Confining 1.8 million souls many of whom can actually see their ancestral land being bulldozed for settlements. Their crime was to be born Arab

The hypocrisy of people wanting Trump to do something when Syrian kids were being gassed but when it comes to Palestinian kids being killed the response is...pic.twitter.com/sNrrZF2rIL

It's beyond insulting and ignorant to compare this to mass shootings in the US (or anywhere). Those 60 included armed combatants actively trying to cross a sovereign nation's border with the explicit purpose of kidnapping Israeli civilians or soldiers. This comparison is invalid.
-
This was an actual government (not a crazed individual) that slaughtered 60 people for coming too close to their prison fence from where they can see their ancestral homes. Fixed that for you
