Welcome to the world of survival and need for protecting ones existence over others. The only way to rid the world of this type of selfishness would be to remove countries from our social constructs and be a world United by species. Give it like 100 years for that.

Wow. You're more hopeful than I am. I doubt that we'll be able to come together ever. Most conflict can be traced back to a scarcity of resources. We're clearly heading into an era where resources become more and more difficult to obtain. But I'll take your hope!! :)
