He was riding an ATV when an officer TASERED HIM while he was riding it - causing young Damon to crash and die. Of course it did.

I had an uncle murdered by police with use of excessive force. We went to court, but of course nothing happened. I pray for this family. I know first hand how terrible it is, but this story is especially sad.

It's weird because it happened over 20 years ago when I was 10, but recently with all the footage and stories coming out, all these memories are coming back to the surface. My heart just aches for these families. Thank you for your kind words.
A history of using excessive force, reprimanded for using Taser inappropriately & on handcuffed suspects. The investigation into the officer's conduct shows that over a 4-year span ending in 2017, he had 40 use of force incidents, 17 pursuits & 5 car accidents.
What does it take to get fired? Damon Grimes was used as target practice! The officer should've been charged with first degree murder! He wasn't going to stop until he killed somebody, and the department is responsible for allowing the officer to keep his job. #ATVWhileblack

Tamir Rice's murder was also a drive by - the verbal warning was issued as the cruiser pulled up to the park and first shots came before the vehicle came to a complete stop a couple seconds later. So the police have been doing drive-bys for a while.
Within 2seconds they killed Tamir Rice. 
Now its another child who won't see prom, or graduate.
I'll never understand it. It's bad enough when civilian kids are killing each other or caught up in BS because of where they're stuck living. But the police are SUPPOSED TO serve and protect. You'd think kids ... ALL kids, would be at the top of that list. #noexcuse4h8
Soooo @detroitpolice do you have an explanation for the murder of this child? Did those who condoned the murder of a child meet discipline? If a kid running from cops is justification to die, then condoning it should be justification for termination... ATLEAST
