Really, no one should be contributing to DA campaigns since a prosecutor may adjust what they determine to be "justice" based on a contribution. Hence - we shouldn't be electing prosecutors and chancing Cy Vance situations. BUT, since we are stuck with it, no to police $.

Judge Aaron Persky is being recalled by voters in June (Brock Turner). Early on, Persky backers donated $ defending his character. Went through list for fun, discovered his backers were all criminal lawyers defending hideous crimes....

They're not tasked with holding them accountable. That's part of the problem of the legal system as it is. It serves to strengthen existing class relations, not to change them.

So So So Agree, Prosecutors should not accept these bribes, it creates a morally reprehensible situation, where the DA becomes indebted to police, and will side with them above all. Police kill someone, just ignore it, build a fence, delete twitter, it will all go away..Sickening
