Being a native Southerner, and growing up with this type of garbage, and then seemingly over the years seeing this type of stuff decrease... the past two years have been an eye-opener to me that we aren't where we thought we were. If that makes any sense whatsoever...

The kid thinks he is clever. Likely made his parents proud.But in the end, he has forever associated himself w/ a narrow, oppressive world view. His belief in his cleverness will fade as the world around him reminds him of this folly again & again. Hubris.
