Outrageous, and inevitable. She'll be confirmed. No way the Senate Republicans will block her, and I'll bet on at least two Democrats voting yes.
It is absolutely outrageous that a person who detained and tortured countless human beings, including pregnant women, then destroyed the evidence of the torture, would ever be made the Director of the CIA. Gina Haspel is a war criminal. This is despicable.

They claim she’s ‘qualified’ for the position, but her records are classified, have not been declassified for this process. If they were given this info, doubt they would change their minds.

It's quite possible she's qualified. She's also a torturer which should exclude her from the post regardless of qualifications.

That was the point I was trying to make. But they won’t release the records regarding her torture so they can make a truly informed decision.

I don't think anyone sensible even needs more records released to vote no. She tortured. She deleted evidence of torture, against a Presidential order no less. That's a no. I'm sure there's worse that's classified, but the declassified stuff is all we need to say no.
